Potty Training?

Last night, I went in my bathroom and discovered a live cockroach sitting in the bowl of the toilet. (Not swimming--just sitting there.) Before I realized my dilemma (squish or flush), I quickly flushed the toilet (twice). Now all I can think of is how difficult it is to kill a cockroach, and I wonder how soon it will be before it crawls back through the pipes and surprises me during a midnight bathroom trip! I wish I had squished it!

I told my dad about it, and his response was, "Well, it looks like you found a civilized cockroach. At least it's potty trained!"
