Countdown to "D" Day

1 DAY TO DISNEY DEPARTURE

Lacie has the stomach flu!  We all wonder:  Will we get to go on our trip?

DISNEY DEPARTURE DAY

Lacie is tired, but feeling better.  No one else has any symptoms.

  

1 hour to Disney departure, and we are almost ready.  It looks like Lacie is feeling better, and we’ll be able to go on our trip.

As Steve’s Dad would say . . .

WE’RE OFF LIKE A HERD OF TURTLES!

Projected Departure Time:  5:30 P.M.

Actual Departure Time (with two cars—one to go to the dealer for repair):  6:03 P.M.

Second Departure Time (after going back to drop off something for Primary):  6:15 P.M.

Third Departure Time (after going back to get Steve’s swimming suit):  6:30 P.M.

Fourth Departure Time (after dropping off Steve’s car):  6:50 P.M.

Return Home (after noticing that Lacie is gray, listless, and unwilling to eat or drink):  7:00 P.M.

Final Departure Time (after getting Lacie to eat and drink and waiting for her to perk back up):  8:30 P.M.

Final arrival at Aunt Jenny’s house:  1:30 A.M. (California time)

What a start to a great vacation!
