I've mentioned before that after Melissa gets tucked in, she likes to pretend she is a teacher and read and teach to an imaginary class. She even has a jar of popsicle sticks to draw a name for her "Star Student" each night. Here she is teaching her class. (Try to ignore the terrible lighting.)
Here's what she said to me last night:
"Mom, can you help me find the Dr. Suess ABC Book? I'm substituting for Kindergarten tonight."
She sure is taking this teaching thing seriously! It cracks me up. She'll be a great teacher someday.
